2017 Lang Community Skating Rink Siding Replacement Project
Various fundraising suppers, events, and donations from the residents of Lang throughout the past few years have not been sufficient to raise all the funds needed to replace the siding.
The Village of Lang applied to the Richardson Foundation for a community donation and were awarded the sum of $ 10,000.00 to put towards the project. Pictured below is the official cheque presentation. From left to right are Heather Broderick-Chairperson Lang Rink Board, Marc Mabon-Director of Operations Richardson Pioneer-Corrine, and Brady Westling-employee Richardson Pioneer-Corrine.
Once the siding replacement has been fully completed, the Weyburn Credit Union-Lang Branch have committed to donating $ 7500.00 for rink upgrades.
